Mawer wins world title after controversial fourth round

Australia's Wayne Mawer has won the Formula 1 Men's World Title after a controversial finish in the Round 4 race at Viersel.
The title was not announced until after 1am as the jury continued to deliberate on the incident in the final seconds of the men's race, when Todd Haig's crew turned after the checkered flag and continued on another lap, preventing Tru Blue and Wayne Mawer from crossing the line.
The jury's decision was to penalise the USA crew, giving Mawer the win and the world title.
In his heartfelt acceptance speech at presentation, Mawer congratulated Todd Haig for the week of tough racing competition.
